DEFINING HOME
Thank you residential designers Tom Adams and Adam Gerndt (adams-gerndt.com) for bringing a new design center to town. Now we no longer have to shop Atlanta for the awesome pieces we love from Oly Studio, Mrs. Howard, Mitchell Gold+Bob Williams, and more. Room vignettes are ever-changing, and an expansive resource area offers designers a chance to explore the many fabrics and finishes available for each line. Don’t have a designer? No worries. There’s some fine talent available to help.

C. WONDER
The oh-so-talented Christopher Burch is bringing his first Alabama store to The Summit. (Insider scoop reveals that Birmingham trumped Dallas and Nashville!) The designer’s bright, bold signature style is evident in the curated collection of clothing, jewelry, home, and gift items. And it’s all presented in a fabulous combination of elegance and whimsy. Look for fun extras such as custom monogramming, gorgeous gift wrap, bonus gifts, and a browse-and-stay-awhile Southern attitude.

WARE AND CO.
The bright blue awning and Dutch door at Ware Porter’s new shop, Ware and Co., sends a very big welcome to Mountain Brook Village shoppers. A step inside reveals a playful mixture of 18th- and 19th-century antiques and new furnishings, as well as modern photography by artist David Hillegas, all against a backdrop of crisp white walls and blue-and-white striped floors. It’s Hamptons meets Capri meets high style and whimsy. Look for exclusive lines from Bunny Williams Home, Christopher Spitzmiller, Roberta Roller Rabbit, and Alabama native Richard Keith Langham—all pulled together in Porter’s signature mix.
